Let’s talk about alcoholic drinks.
In Barcelona you can taste tapas, lunch or dinner with more than sangria, beer or wine of Rioja. Wine can be, of course, Catalan, or Ribera de Duero, or from any other area with Designation of Origin, which are a few in Spain. At midday, while having some Catalan-style tapas, nothing better than a vermouth. Such is the success of this drink that the city is filled with vermuterías. At night, after dinner, it is time for gintonics, for which bars offer a long menu of gins and tonics; nevertheless mojitos and caipirinhas are really popular too. All of this, of course, must be drunk in moderation, as the next day you want to remember your adventures in Barcelona and get up early to continue discovering the city.
