The desire about spending more time on the streets comes attached to the good weather. Attached to the desire to be on the street, the festivals come. And that´s why there are plenty of festivals in Barcelona in particular and Catalonia in general.

1. TwinPalm 2018

TwinPalm will take place on April 7th at Hospitalet de l’Infant

Maika Makovski, Mariona Aupí, Paco San, Mina Coto and Ivan Campo will form the TwinPalm 2018 line up, which will take place at the Infant Pere Cultural Center of l’Hospitalet de l’Infant.

The ticket costs €15.

2. Primavera Sound Festival 2018

Primavera Sound will take place in Barcelona from May 28th to June 3rd the

There will be concerts in different bars of the city Monday and Tuesday, while during Wednesday the concerts will be moved to Forum for free.

Spanish artists we recommend are: Za!, María Arnal I Marcel Bagés, Holy Bouncer, Nuria Graham, Bad Gyal and Hinds.

 

International artists we recommend are: Javiera Mena, Spritualized, Björk, Floating Points Solo live, Four tet live, James Holden & The Animal Spirits, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, The War On Drugs and Arca.

 

 

On Sunday the festival continues free of charge at the bars and Raval neighborhood.

3. Sónar 2018 Music, Creativity & Technology

Sónar 2018 will be held June 14th, 15th and 16th at Montjuic Showground during the day and at Gran Vía Showground at night

This year Sónar will celebrate 25 years, so it is a very special edition. The artists we highlight from its lineup are: Laurent Garnier, Oscar Mulero, Niño de Elche & Israel Galván, Mueveloreina, Rosalía, 2manydjs (dj set), Big Menu & Friends, Gorilaz, Bonobo, Alizzz, Thom Yorke, Richie Hawtin and LCD Soundsystem.

The fourth edition of the VIDA Festival will take place from June 28th to July 1st in Vilanova i la Geltru

VIDA 2018, the International Festival of Vilanova i la Geltrú, will be held at La Daurada Beach Club during the day and La Masia d’en Cabanyes at dusk.

The national artists we recommend are: Oso Leone, Joe Crepúsculo, Los Planetas and again <3 Nuria Graham <3.

Internationals: Calexico, St. Vincent and Iron & Wine.

 

 

5. Cruilla 2018

Crüilla Barcelona 2018 Festival will take place on July 13rd and 14th at Forum of Barcelona

Jack White, Prophets of Rage, Justice or David Byrne will part of its lineup among others.

6. Festival de Cap Roig

Cap Roig Festival will take place from July 13rd to August 22nd

Sting, Manolo García, Mana or James Blunt are some of the names that will perform in this festival, located in a spectacular location.

7. Barcelona Beach Festival

Barcelona Beach Festival will take place at Parc del Forum next July 14th

David Guetta, Xavi Alfaro or Armin Van Buuren are some of the djs in charge of entertaining the party.

8. Circuit Festival 2018

Circuit Festival will take place from 9th to 19th August in Barcelona

The Circuit Festival is one of the most important gay music festivals in the world. For 11 days, 16 parties will take place in the city of Barcelona, hosting 40 internationally renowned DJs.
