Five open air sports to practice in Barcelona

Many of us want to start to practice open air sports with the arrival of good weather. Not everything is going to be drinking beers and sorting out the world´s problems with our friends on a terrace bar, right?

For this reason, we propose five sports on this list that you can practice in Barcelona any day of the week. Some of these plans are free and others have quite affordable prices even with private instructor:

Yoga and Pilates in the Ciutadella Park and on the beach

It is very common to walk through the Ciutadella Park and see people meditating and practicing yoga or pilates. If you want to be one of those people, take a look at meetup and you will see that there are many free possibilities, not only in Ciutadella Park, but also in different parts of Barcelona and on the beach.

Swimming Pools of Montjuïc

If you prefer fresh water to salty, the swimming pools of Montjuic are an excellent option. The views of Barcelona are spectacular and the price is very affordable.

There are nets on the beaches of Barceloneta, Marbella, Nova Icaria … There are groups like Love it Beachvolley and Voley Fit,,  who meet on the beach to play during the weekend.

Paddle surfing

If you practice Paddle surfing you will have the feeling to be taking a walk on the surface of the water. You do not have to be an expert to start enjoying and practicing this sport. There are  several places where you can rent boards and neoprenes on the beach of Barceloneta and Vila Olímpica:
