When does reception of The Urban Suites work?

Reception is open from 9.00 to 21.00 from Monday to Sunday.

At the weekend in a low season, from November to February, the reception works only on arrival.

What is the check in time?

Generally at 3pm. If you arrive before that time and apartments are ready, you can check in at the moment of arriving. If not, you can leave your luggage in the reception.

What is the check out time?

At 11am.

Is it possible to check out after fixed time?

Check out between 11.00 and 14.00 is cost 45 € for suites and 50 € for apartments. After 14.00 the price is as for the whole day, with 10% discount. Before the service was free but because of some customers’ abuse, late check out is charged now.

If I arrive later than 21.00 will I found someone at the reception to check in?

Reception works from 9.00 to 21.00, so you should let us know if you plane to arrive later. If you warn us in advance, there for sure will be a person waiting for you. In case of you come later without warning we will leave our contact number on the door. Once we get to know about your arrival, we’ll be back at The Urban Suites in less than fifteen minutes. Late check in after 21 hrs costs 25€. Late check in after 22 hrs costs 35€. Late check in after 23:30 hrs costs 45€.

Is it possible to check in and check out before or after fixed time?

The fixed time for check in and check out makes it possible to prepare apartments for guests. In some cases time for check in and check out can be changed, depending on rooms’ availability. This information can confirm only our staff, once the reservation is completed. In any case, we have a luggage service where you can deposit your luggage before or after check in and check out.

Where can I leave my keys if I check out before 9.00?

You can leave your keys on the table in your room and close the door behind you.

Are there bed linens and towels in the apartment?

Yes.

Is there coffee or / and other food in the room?

No.

How apartments are equipped?

All our apartments are well equipped and we thought over about everything so you can enjoy freedom, comfortable and quiet atmosphere. To see more details about our services click here.

When I check out, should I leave the apartment in the same state when I checked in?

The apartment does not have to be exactly as you found it, but it has to be in a good condition. If we find a mess there you will be charged 35€ for suites and 45€ for apartments.

Do apartments have a maid service during the stay?

The apartments are not cleaning daily. For stay longer than 7 days cleaning is included in the price and towels and bed linen are changed weekly. But it does not include the cleaning of the kitchen and household, which in any case must always be left clean and tidy.

Are apartments cleaning daily?

We clean apartments on arrival and once a week for stays longer than seven nights. But you can order cleaning service at a price of 35 € per day for suites and 45 € per day for apartments. Just inform us at the time of booking or on arrival.

If I take the non-refundable offer and want to cancel, will I get my money back?

No, you will not. The offer of early booking is not refundable and is charged 100% at the time of confirmation.

What expenses and services are included in the price?

Aside from all services described in the section “suites and apartments” in the price also are included the consumption of hot and cold water, electricity, air condition, weekly cleaning service and change of bed and bath linen.

Are pets allowed in the building?

Any kind of pets is not allowed in the building. We provide our customers with contacts of various pet homes, but it is better if you solve this problem before traveling.

How can I find an apartment available on determined dates?

The best way to find apartments available in determined period is to search by date in our booking engine, selecting the number of people, type of accommodation, arrival and departure date. You can also contact our booking department.

Where can I get my keys?

Are there areas or apartments for smokers?

In compliance with new law (against smoking), smoking is not allowed in the whole building.

When I receive booking confirmation?

Once all necessary information is completed we send you confirmation e-mail where you will find detailed information how to reach our apartments. If you do not receive it, please contact us as soon as possible.

What if I need help during my stay?

During working hours the Urban Suites staff will always be ready to help you. For other time, you will be provided with an emergency number on arrival. Please, notice that it is not an emergency if Internet does not work at 3am. If you need a taxi at 5am, it is also not an emergency, as you can solve such problems during reception work hours.

Will I need adapter plugs?

We have Europlugs so we recommend you bring one for your electronics if you are from another region.

How can I cancel my reservation?

If you booked through an intermediary page, you must cancel through that page. If you booked on our website, you must cancel via our web. If you booked by email or phone, you can cancel by e-mail or phone. To cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible.

Why do you need the number of my credit card?

A credit card number guarantee the reservation. There will be no charge if a booking is canceled before 12pm, 5 days before arrival, unless it is a special offer with specific cancellation policy.

How can I pay out my stay?

You can pay for your stay at reception with cash or Visa or Master Card.

What happens if I break something?

Please call us as soon as possible and we will try to fix it or replace it if necessary. We will reach agreement on the cost.

How can I get from Girona airport to apartments?

By bus, the company is called Sagales and buses go from the Nord Station in Barcelona and Girona airport. You can buy tickets online on their website, but also you can buy it in Nord Station and in the Girona airport. From Nord Station take the Red Line to Hostafrancs, Creu Coberta exit. Once out, turn right until you reach Rector Triado Street, where you have to turn left and go to number 50, which cuts with Sant Nicolau. The reception is in 3 of Sant Nicolau.

How can I get from Reus airport to apartments?

To get from Reus Airport to Barcelona you should buy tickets in Igualadina Hispanic office, inside the airport. You should hurry up, as there is no much time between landing and departure of the bus. The stop in Barcelona is on Sants Station. Once there, take Tarragona Avenue to Spain Plaza and Sant Nicolau is the third street on the right. If you take Rector Triado, it is more direct, but going along both streets you will get The Urban Suites in less than five minutes.

Who pays tourist tax?

People over 16 years for staying maximum for six days in a row.

Why should I pay a tourist tax?

Because it is something imposed by the Government.

Do people who come to Barcelona to work have to pay the tourist tax?

Do residents of Barcelona pay the tourist tax?

Those who are over 16 years – yes. It is something imposed by the Government.

When I have to pay?

All bookings must be guaranteed by credit card. We do not accept American Express. Usually we charge on your arrival, except some kind of offers or reservations (see conditions). The fact that you entered your card data on intermediary page when booking does not mean that you pay, except some intermediaries who demand prepayment.
