I was dubious to book this initially due to the number of reviews with just one contribution. I'm always suspicious of those, but after finding a reviewer guy who'd done 50+ reviews who loved it I decided to take a risk and book this for 2 nights for my husband's 30th birthday, and I'm very glad I did.

The aparthotel was very close to Barcelona Sants station which was useful for us as we were using the train (and its useful to get to the airport). I'd recommend this hotel for all types of people, business people, families, group visits etc.

When we arrived we were greeted by the staff who were really friendly and chatty and helpful. They were happy to give knowledgable suggestions for restaurants and attractions.

We were taken to our room and showed around. I absolutely loved it! Its really nicely decorated and has everything you'd need for a short stay. Many reviews complained about the wireless but we didn't seem to have much of a problem with it. The kitchen was useful to have as Barcelona's quite expensive, so good to make some of your own meals. There's a supermarket about 300metres away.

One afternoon we spent the afternoon on the roof terrace drinking some beers and basking in the sun, which was a nice addition.

The hotel is close to the underground, or if you like walking its possible to walk all the way down to the beach. At night we caught a taxi back from the seafront for around 12 euros.

I'd definitely go back again and would recommend to friends and family.

Let's start off with Isabel and Cristina. They are incredibly sweet and helpful. I ended up having many great conversations with them both. I am at the end of a 3 month slow travel trip in Europe. This was by far the best place we stayed at. Check in was incredibly easy. We chose a 1 bedroom suite that came with a huge kitchen. This kitchen was equipped with brand new appliances, a stove, an oven, real knives and even a juicer and immersion blender. As someone who cooks, this was ideal. The kitchen even had tons of counter space. The living room had a comfortable couch and great internet access. The bed and bathroom were perfect, roomy and the place was spotless. The cleaning lady went out of her way. Wish we could take her back home with us. The hotel has a deal with an amazing gym a few blocks away which has a pool, sauna, everything you can desire. If you are a foodie, the restaurant is a 5 minute walk to Tickets and 41 degrees. Art lovers, the hotel is right by the museum with its gorgeous fountain. We also found ourselves having dinner on the spacious roof deck of the hotel. Great place to see the sun go down. There is a laundry room with washers & dryers (free of charge with free soap) as well. There is a supermarket a few blocks away, also the Hostafrank market which is a bit more traditional, there are dry cleaners, cobblers, and tailors all in walking distance. I look forward to my next visit to Barcelona and will definitely stay at this amazing hotel. Do not hesitate you will not be disappointed.

We have recently returned from our stay in Barcelona. The accommodation at the Urban Suites is fabulous, really spacious rooms well equipped kitchen and powerful showers! The air condition was efficient and handled the high temperatures well.
There were 6 adults sharing the apartment and at no point did we feel overcrowded. With a small baggage allowance the ability to use the washing machines and dryers in the basement is such a bonus!
The appartments are within easy walking distance to the Metro, busses and Placa Espanya. There is a market for fresh fruit, veg, fish, meats and cheese about 200 yds away and a Supermarket about 100 yards away, and a Pizza House just across the road
The staff were all very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble, from helping me sort the FREE wifi on my phone, booking taxi’s, helping us find a venue where we were meeting others, giving us tips for the best beach and telling us how to get there, directing us to the outdoor swimming pool. Whatever we asked there was always a smile and a helping hand.

Thank you ladies for a fab stay and we look forward to seeing you again next year!

We recently returned from our first trip to Barcelona and stay at the Urban Suites.
Great accommodation, clean and well equipped, very well situated near underground station and the air conditioning made a welcome relief from the hot weather.
The staff were very helpful, providing maps and highlighting points of interest.
Plenty to see near by or by metro/bus, will definately need a return visit and the Urban Suites will be top of the list.
